Sarah Ames: Sarah Ames is a country music artist and songwriter born in Northern California. Sarah’s fresh sound takes on a tell-it-like-it-is “California country” vibe, combining a conversational, colorful, and visual lyric, with the sounds of country, rock, and pop. She lists Bonnie Raitt, Faith Hill, and Sheryl Crow as her biggest influences. As a little girl, Sarah spent most of her time singing, writing her first song at 8 years old. After participating in her first musical at age 10, Sarah’s love for performing grew. Throughout high school, she starred in school musicals, sang demos, and entered radio singing contests. Phil Barton: Phil Barton originally from Sydney Australia now lives in Nashville TN where he writes for Hori Pro Publishing. He has had over 750 cuts on assorted country, children's and pop records. Allison Veltz: Allison Veltz's road to The White Room is as unconventional as it gets. The singer-songwriter penned the five-song EP about love and heartbreak she endured over the past year, which isn't unusual. But experiences gained traveling the country with her family's band laid the groundwork for her values, artistry and philosophy. Veltz, the Taste of Country #LetTheGirlsPlay artist for January 2016, shares 10 photos taken between the time she quit the family business to focus on her own solo career. She started in New York City and notched a No. 1 hit in Japan. Bobby Hamrick: Bobby Hamrick is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN.
