John McEuen and Friends: Circle
The Franklin Theatre
Sat, May 19 8:00 pm

Multi-instrumentalist, John McEuen, shares the legacy of his 55-year life in music. The show will cover the landmark Will the Circle Be Unbroken platinum album (initiated by John), and his career with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (NGDB), alongside a unique cast of Americana string wizards. With narrative and music of the early years, McEuen takes us on his incredible journey through hot bluegrass, rarely heard NGDB early classics and Carter Family music, all in a multi-media presentation that features archival footage. He’ll play new music as well from his recent album on Chesky Records, which was Stereophile Magazine's Record of the Month. John was recently inducted into the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame.
